Fees & Policies

THERAPY FEES:

  • Telehealth therapy session, 50 minutes, $150. Intake (first session) is $175.
  • In-person therapy session, 50 minutes, $170. Intake (first session) is $195.

Saturday appointments (by special arrangement) are available as double sessions (100 minutes; $340.) A prorated charge will be applied to therapy-related telephone calls that are longer than 10 minutes. A sliding scale is available and requires proof of income.

INSURANCE: I am not on any insurance panels. I can provide you with a statement (aka “superbill”) that will contain dates of service, the diagnosis code (necessary if you are to get reimbursed), and the payments you have made. Please note that using your health insurance may limit the confidentiality of services. NOTE: A number of insurance plans have a completely separate “behavioral health” deductible.  In other words, even if you attend counseling sessions with an in-network provider, you are not necessarily working toward meeting your medical deductible (which only counts visits to medical doctors). See additional information about health insurance coverage.

PAYMENT: Your payment for therapy is required at the time of service. Forms of payment accepted: Cash, check, major credit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) debit cards, and bank debit cards. A credit or debit card is required of all clients for their first session.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: A professional time commitment is set aside and held exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at 678-554-5632 at least 24 hours in advance. If the change is made with less than 24 hours’ advance notice or if you do not to keep your scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for the full fee.

AVAILABILITY: Our office’s confidential voice mail at (678) 554-5632 is monitored Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 A.M. and 7 P.M. If possible, your call will be returned the same day, or at the latest the next business day. As noted under THERAPY FEES, there is a prorated charge for telephone calls.

EMAIL: For confidentiality purposes, you are advised to limit your use of email to appointment requests.

CRISIS/EMERGENCY: I am NOT available at all times and do NOT provide emergency services. Some options for emergencies: 911; Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225; nearest hospital ER.
